This year marks the 34th annual American Sand Sculpting Championship in Fort Myers Beach, and you won't find a better chance to see World Class Master Sand Sculptors in action. In addition to the exciting competition, you can shop at the vendor village, grab a meal from the food stands, listen to live music, and even bring your dog along for this pet-friendly event. The new Advanced Amateur State Championship and Amateur Contests each provide opportunities for emerging sand artists to participate, as well. It all takes place at Diamondhead Beach Resort from November 21-24, 2024, with discounts available for purchasing tickets in advance. -

Race into the holiday season with the My Santa Fun Run on November 30, 2024, at Marco Island's scenic Mackle Park! This festive 5K run and walk invites participants of all ages to join in the cheer, complete with Santa hats, medals, and a sweet finish of milk and cookies. Proceeds benefit the Marco Island Police Foundation and Sunrise Rotary of Marco Island. The race begins at 8 a.m., with registration and packet pickup starting at 7 a.m. Bring your family and spread the joy!
